Very disapointed

My velvet evening dress was returned with heat burn marks on the dress. It is completely ruined. When I pointed this out, I was told it was already like that when I gave it to them and it must be a mark from being trodden on! It was not trodden on and was checked before I took it to the dry cleaners. I also showed the same lady the dress when I handed it to her and checked that velvet would be ok in the machine and went over the whole dress to check for areas to clean. Clearly she had forgotten this. The mark is a dull matt patch which is crispy and hard, not what would happen from being trodden on. I realise the dress can not be repaired but I would of liked acknowledgment and an apology. They must have insurance fro these problems. I will never use them again, there service is appalling and I am very sad.
