Restaurant - Indian in Tunbridge Wells

I visited Masala yesterday and immediately encountered problems. The service which I had received was not up to standards of other local cuisines and the service was poor. I was waiting for drinks for a long period of time even though the restaurant was empty. The mango sauce was of strange taste and during my 20 years of eating at local Indian restaurants, I had not tasted such bizarre sauces, which I suspect had given me food poisoning. Continuing my complaints, my main order of chicken jalfrezi was very bland even though I had specifically stated I wanted it spicy and hot. The naan bread I had ordered was burnt and not as good as I have eaten elsewhere and suspect it was undercooked. The overall service was below standard and I hope this will not be repeated with other customers. I spoke to a different waiter to express my concerns but he just walked off. The manager on duty was rushing around like a headless chicken and I had tried to speak to him but he ignored my requests. He was sweating like a pig in a fully air conditioned restaurant, which I have never seen before in my life. He was quite big and not smartly dressed. He was not very articulate and was not attentive to customer needs. He put his whole hand in his mouth for some reason, not quite sure what he was trying to so. On my visit yesterday, the waiter which I had quite good friendship was not there. I was also told by local neighbours that that immigration had raided them yet again, and 2 waiters were taken away. They have a history of employing illegal workers Avoid Masala at all costs and go to other local Indians
