Calverley park cafe is the best in Tunbridge Wells. From what i can understand it's run by the same people as Dunorlean Park Cafe however it does seem to have a better chef. The menu is as you would expect from a cafe, chips chips chips, but healthier options too such as jacket potatos. A word of warning, don't have the burger unless you like it WELL DONE! Lots of places to sit on a sunny day, but when it rains expect to be squashed!Prices are really cheap and can't be faulted, so there is no excuse not to go. The park itself isn't huge, but great for families

This place is great. Ok, so the menu mostly resembles a greasy spoon but it tastes good. There are a wide variety of things to have with chips but also on offer are baked spuds or homemade soup which isn't half bad. They even cook the bacon crispy if asked. As well as the usual ice creams there are scooped ones available, with or without a flake. Seating is inside and out or you could take your mug of tea and perch on one of the nearby benches. Word of warning, if you have a child aversion this is probably not the best place to go.
