About Us

Margaret Preedy is a triple Fellow with the ISTD and has been teaching in Maidstone for many years following in the footsteps of her parents, Peter Preedy and Anne Lingard who have been teaching Ballroom Dancing in Maidstone since 1943. In 2000 The Dance Studios moved from Brewer Street in Maidstone to this fabulous 18th century listed building.

Over the last eight years the classes have grown and now there are 2 or 3 Adults classes six evenings a week and Children's classes all day on Saturdays and three afternoons a week. At the Studios we also hold Social and Practice Evenings, Dinner Dances and Party Nights for your entertainment and for you to get a chance to put into use what you are learning. We also hold a Winter and Summer Ball each year in a larger venue with Live Music from the top Bands playing for three hours just Ballroom and Latin American Music for you to dance to.
