About Disprose

My name is Michelle Diprose and I am an independent freelance artist/illustrator and photographer. I specialise in painting portraits, both animal and human, but also enjoy painting and photographing things that I love, and which inspire me, such as wildlife and seascapes. All my work is original so that you can be sure if you buy or commission a bespoke painting from me that it will be unique. Realism is important to me and great care is taken to produce a detailed likeness of my subject so that the finished portrait is a true representation of that individual.

An experienced airbrush artist I am know for my Automotive Custom Artwork which can be seen on bike tanks, lorries, jackets, and wheel covers etc. I have taught and demonstrated airbrush techniques for many years. This side of my artwork has allowed me to meet many amazing and interesting people and, as an added bonus, has meant I have been able to indulge myself in another of my passions - fantasy art. I've been known to scribble off the odd cartoon or two as well which is fun.

Based in the Kentish Countryside not far from the county town of Maidstone and Leeds Castle. My artwork sells internationally, as well as locally, and private art tuition is available at my studio.
