Amazing

I am a regular visitor to St Albans and came across Alexanders for the first time on Saturday, Firstly what an amazing shop and how it has been done out. It just felt like i was stepping back in time. The way the tradition has been maintained is amazing. The staff were very attentive and helpful, i was offered a whiskey which i gladly accepted haha, better not tell the Mrs. I didn't think it would be such a process having a hair cut as I'm used to the quick in quick out service which is typical of the high street. I had a complimentary shoe shine, with my drink and newspaper, then escorted to my chair then had my hair washed then cut then the razor then the ear flaming which was scary but amazing then a face wash then a hot towel which was scented and made me feel so relaxed. Then products and aftershave. The moral of the story and why i am leaving a review is that mens haircuts don't get much attention usually but this shop made me feel very welcomed and they also did a great job on my hair and i left feeling great. The price may put a few people off but for £22.50 it was the best money i have spent on myself in the last couple of years and will be visiting every time I'm in the area.
