So what does this pub have?It has a damn good pool table at a good price (50p a game) as well as two Darts Boards with Darts behind the bar and two flat screen TV's which are used to play PS3 & Wii games on. There's also the football pools game (£1 a go winner takes all)What about sports? Well it has all the good football games (yes, even those elusive 3pm games). Want to see the cricket, rugby or darts? Well so long as there isn't a football game on just ask and if they have it you will recieve. What about the people. The customers range from the young (18) to the old (late 60's) but they're all nice people and after a few anyone is approachable. There is no trouble and the customers are respectful of each other. How about the staff? Well there are three bar staff (not including the landlord) Two lovely ladies who provide the eye candy and a young rocker who gives it that more rock edge to it.Music? The jukebox has a massive variety, any genre there are songs and you should be happy with what you can find. Live music is rare at the moment but the future is looking bright on that front. Most importantly Drink prices? You'll pay more than if you went to a wetherspoons but that's no shock. Beers are at a decen price and spirits won't break the bacnk (some spirits have a double up for a pound on them). It's a great pub, with great customers and always something to do. Check it out.

The Bridgehouse is your archetypal British local pub. As you would expect, the dartboard and pool table are present! The dartboard will forever be imprinted on my mind, as this pub was where I won my first ever game of darts! There is also a computerized jukebox which plays a large selection of music. But this is definitely not the place to come if you're lookign for excitement! More the place to go in the evening for a few pints or even food (I've had the steak here - very reasonably priced and not at all bad!). If you're looking for some intellectual stimulation, the pub holds a quiz night every Tuesday, starting around 9-9.30 ish. At this time the pub fills with knowledgeable locals - no easy wins here! All in all a very nice local place.
