The Red Hart

The Red Hart is one of the many pubs in Hitchin and if you are looking for a place that plays Heavy Metal / Hard Rock music, a game of pool and a pint then you can't go wrong.The average age of the punter is ‘young' – And of an evening unless you recently finished school or University you will probably want to give it a miss. On the up side it is normally quite quiet during the day.It has a rather well worn look to it, but that's half the charm – Soft sofa and carpets would look complete out of place here.They serve food and it well priced. They have a beer garden of a sort – There are picnic benches in the yard which if I recall is the place that the last public hanging took place…Basically if you are looking for a romantic night out or a meal with the family then give it a miss, but if you want a loud, noisy, busy pub - Pool and music - then this is the place for you - If you're under thirty
