Avoid at all costs

We have been with Parkes Wilshire Johnson for 6-7 weeks for our property purchase and I wish we had never used them. There is a complete lack of urgency, things only seem to be done or turn up immediately after I telephone (and even then they seem to get pushed back by 2-3 weeks), our solicitor went on holiday without informing us (I'm perfectly happy with people taking holidays, but not if it means we are told by 2 staff at the office that our case "doesn't exist" - the third time we tried it was fine), they had the draft lease sitiing around for over 2 weeks etc. We are still with them and as they have only just told me they will start looking at the draft lease, I think the process is going to take an exceptionally long time (searches not started yet, either). As we have put down a £400 deposit, we don't have a choice but to remain with them now. Avoid at all costs.
