Art Tuition

Lessons are structured to cover technical water colour painting skills picture composition and creativity. Frequent demonstrations examples from art history some finished picture making and many practical exercises are included. As a full time artist based in Botley, Hampshire UK. I also enjoy teaching drawing and painting to adults both individually and in groups. Among favourite subjects are landscape seascape and still life. While most courses are held in my studio, (The Studio, Westlea, Tower Hill, Dummer, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG25 2AL), some groups also work from private homes or outdoors on location here in the South of England.

ORIGINAL PAINTINGS Have your event or favourite location depicted in watercolour.

On the spot paintings of wedding receptions, parties, fairs, fetes, sporting events etc.

‘En plein air', landscapes, seascapes, townscapes and crowd scenes.

Portraits of houses, buildings, boats, bridges etc.

Interiors, figures, still life.

A range of limited edition giclee prints are available.

Original artwork for sale from the studio and gallery.

A glorious array of freshly picked tulips to inspire you. Lots of help, instruction and encouragement from the tutor.

All materials and equipment, studio teas/coffees and a ploughman's lunch in the pub are included. Just bring yourself. Quick and easy access M3, J7 or short taxi ride from Basingstoke railway station. B&B within short walking distance. Suitable for experienced and also for beginner artists.

Painting in the Countryside with Kirstin White (Dummer)

Saturday 30th July. 10 am to 5pm.

VENUE: The Studio, Westlea, Tower Hill, Dummer, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG25 2AL.

A classic landscape of rolling fields, painted on the spot, just outside the studio. Preparation and finishing will be in the studio. Lots of help, instruction and encouragement from the tutor. In the event of rain we will work from photographs.
