We went to la toscas on a groupon voucher and we were treated differently to those customers paying full price. We were fully ignored for a good five minutes when we arrived then when we were spoken to the man was rude, and told us to seat at a nearby table instad of taking us over. \We were given our free wine - which wasn't great. The food did come out relatively quickly. The starters were nice but I wouldn't have paid the full price for them, the prices on the menu seemed quite expensive. Once we had finished our wine - no one asked us if we wanted any more drinks - we asked for a wine menu. Good selection of wines at mostly reasonable prices. Main courses were quite small and mine was particularly oily. Once we were finished it took a long time to be asked if we want deserts - however the deserts we ordered were good. They then left us for a very long time without checking whether we needed any more drinks etc. Overall serious lack of attention on the service and food not worth the full prices on the menu. We won't be coming here again!

Birthday disappointment
Last Saturday seven of us went on my recommendation to Tosca's. The food was lukewarm, several of the starters tasteless and the portions were very small. The bill on the other hand was very large. In short, the prices did not seem to relate to the quality and size of the dishes.The restaurant was nearly empty and perhaps that should have been a warning.The only positive comment thar I can make is the service was cheerful.

Toscas southamtpon
A fantastic authentic Italian restaurant. Customer service is outstanding. There is a quick service on all requests including drinks and the bill. A warm family owned atmosphere and cuisine. Advise to book in advance. I will be going again.
