Don't Bother!
I have never liked this place but kept going back to give it the benefit of the doubt. If you like overpriced food that has sat on a grill plate for 20 minutes and bad service from staff who can't be bothered - check it out! The music is rubbish and played so loud that everyone has to shout (and no I'm not old I'm still in my 20's). One of our party found that their food had not been cooked through - they had to wait 20 mins before it reappeard - another found hair in thier chips and it took 45 mins in total for each member of our party of 12 to get thier food. By which time of course the others had finished. Better food for better prices can be found elsewhere.

Great food, reasonable pricing
TGIs is a great place to go if you are having any kind of party e.g. birthday or hen party where all you want is good food and drinks at reasonable prices with good service. The only downside to the Southampton branch is that it can get very noisy due to the fact that most of the people going there go for the reasons mentioned above, and with cocktails that big...no wonder! I would recommend it as it's great fun but possibly not the best place for an intimate / romantic date!
