We attended the course as first time parents and were pleasantly surprised at how much information we learned and how well we were prepared for the birth. Kirsteen did an excellent job, and as a registered midwife was able to impart useful anecdotes as well as medical information. I couldn't recommend these classes highly enough.

Excellent course which I would highly recommend to anyone who is expecting. Sarah is brilliant and makes you feel relaxed immediately so that you feel able to ask any question. Really good course which covered a lot of ground including baby massage and also put us in touch with a post natal group for when the baby is born so you can speak to other mothers in the same boat.

Having just moved to the area we booked some one to one sessions at our home as all the classes were fully booked. We found the sessions both informative and enjoyable and would highly recommend Little Execpections to any mums and dads to be.

The 5 week ante-natal course covered all the things we wanted to know about labour, pain relief and an early days survival guide. It was delivered in a very relaxed and informative manner, where everyone (mums and dads) felt at ease. Of particular note is that Sarah the instructor is a profession midwife, and could relay real-world experiences to re-assure us that it's not as scary as we first imagined! We'd whole heartedly recommend this to any and all expectant parents to be. We certainly enjoyed going each week, and are keeping in contact with those we met.

This 5 week ante natal course was excellent, covering everything from how to get through labour to the basics of caring for your new born baby. It has made me less nervous about the whole thing!! It is run in a relaxed friendly environment, and as well as being informative it was also enjoyable.

Ante-natal classes

We have just finished our 5 week course, and can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone interested. The class size is small enough to feel comfortable, but large enough to encourage a bit of discussion. The subjects were covered well in a lighthearted way. I feel that we now know more about what to expect. The classes have dispelled some myths and reassured us in lots of areas. Sarah was also available to provide answers to more personal queries just before or after the class. It was great to have a professional opinion and she did her homework when you asked her a difficult one.

Very informative without being dull, delivered in a friendly and unpatronising manner. Nobody was made to feel inadequate for asking "silly" questions. Thoroughly enjoyable and lots of fun. Highly recommended by both mum and dad-to-be.

My husband & I attended the 5 week comprehensive course. We found it invaluable and it taught us a great deal about not only how to prepare for the birth itself but also about feeding, baby massage, bathing, changing nappies and a whole lot more! Sarah is fantastic and taught the classes in an informative but lighthearted way making each lesson thoroughly enjoyable and fun. We both now feel much more prepared for the big day & our new arrival. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay for more lessons!

I was really nervous about starting antenatal classes. I thought they would be stuffy and formal and a little bit "earth mothery". Sarah was brillant fun and we laughed all the way through. My partner and I feel ready for our baby to be born. Highly recommended.
