About Us

Michael Tyrrell founded MTA Architects Ltd. in 1967 and over the years the practice has gone on to develop an impressive port-folio of building projects.

We are a medium-sized architectural practice undertaking a wide range of work, from small residential extensions to large multi-million pound commercial projects. We have won a number of awards, including the prestigious Civic Trust Award for our work at Buckfast Abbey in South Devon.

Our experience includes houses for individual clients, other housing, offices, sports and leisure facilities, petrol filling stations, factories, hotels, education and healthcare projects.

It is our firm belief that good design pays dividends. This, combined with our design skills and experience, has provided our Clients with the highest standards of design.
