We are currently changing from a 5 Gold Star B&B to a small and friendly hotel. Please be patient with us on the internet. You might see some postings as a B&B and some as a New Forest hotel. We are changing it ... but it takes time.

Great value
We visited mid week off season and got some great deals. The Cottage Hotel is a restful place with beamed ceilings and open fire. I couldn't believe what great value for money it was for a three night stay mid week. In the morning we had a great breakfast. Everything was local. The eggs were creamy. The mushrooms were wonderful and the dry cured bacon superb. Everyone was friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was great. Just 10 minutes walk and we were on the forest, or on the doorstep of a dozen lovely places to eat. Being Mid-week there were superb deals going on in quite a few restaurants. I would visit again.
