Northfield House is a specialist dementia Care Home with a warm home-from-home ambiance in a traditional style. Their clean, comfortable and high quality accommodation has pleasant décor and provides all the amenities needed by 25 elderly people.

This home has a family atmosphere due to the efforts made to ensure that the health and well-being of the residents always come first whilst they receive the finest care possible.

Northfield House is staffed by a dedicated, professional, caring and well-trained team of managers and care workers, and run with a determination to abide by all the latest rules and regulations. Their mission statement is “to provide care with compassion and commitment" and they offer permanent, respite or short-stay care.

Whilst offering all home comforts and 24-hour care, they specialise in caring for older people afflicted by various forms of dementia.

A comprehensive continuing training program for all staff ensures that they have a good understanding of all required areas to provide for the needs of residents.

Special features of the Home include a conservatory with doors opening onto an area of decking with seats and a sensory garden with a water feature and additional seating.

Every prospective new resident has a full assessment before admission to verify that professionals can provide the care that is needed. An all-inclusive care package is created soon after admission and this is updated regularly to ensure that any changes in the care needs of the resident are properly met.
