"After years of tax issues Involving self employment and property rental income, which I had tried to handle myself . HMRC decided to launch an investigation into my tax affairs for 2010/11/12. At this point I decided to employ a reputable accountant. After a year or so of tooing and throwing with HMRC. I realized that the accountant could not handle my case. At the same time I had a leaflet drop through my letterbox from Churchill Tax Advisers. I made an appointment to see them, where they took on my case which had now become quite serious with a large tax bill for the years in question plus penalties. By now HMRC decided to investigate further, going back another 10 years investigating additional tax years 2002-2006 and came up with some astronomical figures.
