Here at St. Nicholas Church Playgroup, we aim for all children to be happy, safe, and cared for whilst learning through play under the watchful care of professional supervisory staff. We encourage every child to play socially, with respect, kindness, and consideration for others. We encourage them to embrace independence and self-confidence, and we lead them to reach their full potential whatever their abilities. Before joining us independently, we will offer the opportunity for you and your child to spend some time with us. This enables you both to become accustomed to us and our facilities and to find comfort in our happy and stable surroundings. All of our staff are selected to work with your child because of their suitability, experience, reliability, and above all, their caring. They all have had the relevant checks (DBS and references), are qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 and hold current First Aid certificates.
