About Us
Our Cafe in a Carriage provides refreshments for all visitors to the East Anglian Railway Museum at Chappel & Wakes Colne Station. You don't have to visit the Museum to come and eat with us but there's a lot to see at the Museum. We also offer our catering services to customers booking functions in one of our beautiful buildings.
We pride ourselves on using as much local produce as possible. We work with Farmers for whom animal welfare is a priority and that reflects in the quality of the products we offer to you. Please check out our Suppliers page to find details of all the Farmers with whom we work.
Our standard opening hours:
Monday - Sunday from 10am to 5pm
Monday to Friday we serve hot and cold drinks and a range of freshly made snacks and light meals with daily specials. From 2pm - 5pm we also offer cream teas.
