delightful indian restaurant
Having tried some of the top restaurants in chelmsford such as Shaad 34 Moulsham st i thought there would be no other indian that would be the same however i was wrong. Balti King for me was one of the most exclusive restaurants with its cheery atmosphere and delicious food, it was fantastic. I was very impressed with the restaurant having eaten at shaad the previous week my expectations were incredibly high but balti king failed to disappoint me!

Half Price Sundays!
While the Balti King is not my favourite Indian restaurant, the Half Price Sunday offer certainly makes up for where it is lacking in other areas. The food itself is pretty good, just not the best. The menu has everything you'd expect from an Indian restaurant and some specials too. The atmosphere is good and lively and the staff work really hard to make sure you are not kept waiting even when they are very busy. The Half Price just relates to your food bill, so drinks are still full price, but still when the bill comes in we are always surprised at how cheap it is. One thing you must do is BOOK ON A SUNDAY or you will be waiting for well over an hour for a table.
