A nice relaxing weekend
Stayed over on a Sunday evening. Great for a relaxing retreat. Lovely gardens and view. Rooms a great size and refreshing breeze coming through even on the hot days. Nice outside areas to relax in. It is aimed at the older set, traditional English country style decor - although needs a bit of attention to detail (and I'm being picky here) pictures and lampshades askew, bit tired in some areas. Great service from welcoming and helpful staff. Sunday lunch in the restaurant good fresh local meat but nothing special on the veg cooking front.
