Winter Blues

Although this time of year might pose a threat to some peoples state of mind, with shorter daylight hours and the length of the winter months ahead looming, this period can be thought of as a positive time.The colours of autumn and its smells mean more than just leaf raking, muddy walks, and inside out umbrellas! With the garden in a fairly naked state, this is the time to be thinking of planning the exterior space for the delights of when spring is born again. This time the garden can be thought of in the way you want it to be. The vegetable plot, the entertaining area, the sunbathers paradise, your own post modern, minimalist work of art. Whatever you are wishing for, it can take shape.Specifying plants for sculptural effect aswell as colour and scent and also taking a view of the seasons that it may be of particular interest, are all important aspects. Which type of plants to use that don't need much maintenance or don't drop those autumn leaves!
