The zizzi restaurant is busy and the food is cooked in front of you if you are lucky enough to get a table downstairs, which gives you some thing to look at while you wait ages for your food. We had a coupon for a buy 1 main meal to get another of the same or lesser value for free. We were worried about how to give it in but at the end of the meal we did so and the waitress did not bat an eyelid, just took it and came back with the bill. Good job we had the voucher as by the time we added our drinks to the bill, it was quite high for our party. But, we did enjoy the food this time, it was better than it had been before and had I not been I would have had a different view about zizzi. It is ok, fair quality, bit pricey for what it is but we did have a good time and thats all that matters.

Oh it is a chain and you know what to expect here. But it only gets 2 stars from me. The waiting staff are really quite abrupt at times and you do start to think that you are an invasion on their territory. This does really spoil it a bit. The wine list is not too good and could have better quality wines on it. The pizza meals are good and the pasta dishes looked good too. But the place is quite expensive for what it is and there are other restaurants that offer better value for your cash. It is also in a busy part of town which is yet again difficult to park and this is some thing to bear in mind. Would only go again if they were a little cheaper, as its average at best.

This place is usually very busy and is yet another of brightons italian style restaurants. The food is some times good, but often a little hit and miss and you do feel that it could be better. The waiting staff are not all that polite either, so the service does leave a little to be desired. Prices for a pizza are around the eight to nine pound mark and pasta dishes are around the same. The decor is good but the whole place is a little lacking. It is ok, but you never quite know if you will enjoy the mael or not and thats a bit too hit and miss for me. Try it yourself and see, you may find you are there on one of those better days.
