The Indian summer is great, lovely rich, flavour some food that begs you to come back for more time and time again. The menu is good not just for meat based dishes but has a good deal of vegetarian options that are as tasty as anything else on the menu, so the vege eating guests are not fobbed off with poor tasting after thoughts. Indian summer well worth going to, we all had a good evening here. The allo panier, which are potatoes & paneer cooked to a traditional receipe are good and they come served with roti and lemon rice. The peshwari lamb shoulder in a marinade which is infused with wonderful spices is very nice as well. I you still have room for a sweet treat then try the ginger pudding with ginger brandy sauce & iced apple fool it is such a good combination of tastes that really go well together.

Hmmmmmm! What can I say? My boyfriend had this place recommended to us as 'an excellent indian' - but it's like no other curry house I've ever been to. Food was amazing - we didnt talk about anything else all night and have recommended this place to everyone we know. You HAVE to try the passion fruit creme brulee or the duck breast. Out of this world. A tiny bit more spendy than your average curry night but so worth it - staff are spot on, nice little surprises throughout the meal in between courses and great atmosphere. Shame we aren't more local, would be there a lot! Great place for a first date too.

Food tasted ok but 2 of our party (who had the chicken) had upset stomachs afterwards which is a no-no for me and hence the low score.

An Indian Treat

I have been to this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. You know how, in an average Indian restaurant, you kinda don't need to see the menu, 'cause you already know what's on it? That's not true here, as they have an extensive and exciting menu, heavily influenced by Southern Indian cuisine but with a good range of styles from the North too - and many dishes with a hint of European influence. The food is delightfully tasty and the menu will contain many pleasant surprises for diners who are used to the typical UK Indian restaurant. Another great thing about this place is that it has lots of vegetarian dishes, so we actually get a choice for once! It's a great place if you have a group going out with one or more veggies - there's something for everyone. There is also a branch in Hove but I haven't been there - yet. Oh, they also do lunchtime takeaway tiffins in the week and a cheap set lunch on Sundays.
