Dr Dermot Kelleher was unlike many doctors in that he recognised himself as being of the same species as his patients, he was on their wavelength because he wanted to be. I felt he supported me and he cared about people. He was my GP for about 10 years from my teens and GP to my children. I appreciated my doctor explaining things to me as he did and I appreciated that he did not take offense at my questions or questioning attitude. He is a lovely human being who makes you feel better. He would be happy to give out advise instead of medications, like steam for croup and I did not feel that he ever shoved a script at me to get rid of me, unlike many doctors. I believe in Dr Kelleher but I am not a great believer in modern medicine and I do not trust the science behind it. If one looks at the science behind modern medicine we would be aghast at what we find. An example of this is the use of controls. When vaccines were being tested, the controls used in the tests included all of the other ingredients in the vaccines like the adjuvants.
