Lovely place to eat, just a few niggles
I have visited the smugglers on a number of occasions and really enjoy the food they provide, everything feels very personal and great care is taken by the staff to ensure you are having a pleasant experience.Talking more about the food, the attention to detail is fantastic and the presentation of the food is spot on. Obviously the taste of the food is important as well, and they cannot be faulted in any of these aspects.You know as soon as you try the food that it is home made and not something from a packet that's been put in a microwave.Pricing is very good, staff are brilliant and food is perfect. The lightning provides a really ambient feel to the place and I'm sure anyone who visits will really enjoy their food.The downside is the location as its quite isolated from everywhere else and there is a long country road to the pub which can be quite dangerous at night as it has been known for some people to drive quite fast down these roads. Also the car park is on a steep slow and there is steps you have to walk down to get to the smugglers as its almost in a big ditch (excuse my explanation).

I Love going to the Smugglers in, as it makes me feel like I am on holiday even when I'm not. The views out to the bay are really beautiful. I love the way the pub is set down a little hill, so is quite sheltered even when the weather isn't that great. I also like the way all the tables inside have candles lit which makes it seem cosy and romantic. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food is well priced and delicious. They also have a beer garden for people to enjoy the sunshine, with a children's play area for families.
