Rude staff
The staff are rude and ignorant unless you are a regular there. People that aren't regulars get thrown out for asking to be served after waiting 10 or 20 minutes. The security are heavy handed and don't care if it's a male or female that they physically abuse!!. I would avoid that place unless you know everyone In there and are willing to put up with abuse, threats, and cannabis being smoked on the premises...

abit creepy
I have got to say I haven't visited Finns much recently as every time I go in there it always seems dark and not very welcoming.The bar staff do they're job well, but it always seems cramp and stuffy, with not a lot of room to move.Also Finns always seems to attract the same group of people and so you are made to feel awkward if you arrive as not a regular in there.The only plus side is that the drinks are cheap, so people tend to have one drink there and then go onto the more expensive places to drink.

OK If your into heavy metal music
I have only visited Finns in Weymouth about 3 times in my lifetime so far. I shouldn't slate the place but its just not for me as I feel a little worried when I enter Finns as they play a lot of Heavy Metal music and there is a lot of gothic people there (no offence to Goths and respect that) but I think we all have our place in Weymouth and unless your into heavy metal then I don't recommend this place.I have been there a few times as some of my friends are into this sort of music. The prices for alcohol are quite reasonable but there is not a huge deal of space to fit everyone in, especially when you trying to play pool and there's people squashed up behind you (not sure if they have a Pool table anymore but that use to be the case).Like I say, if you like pubs with this atmosphere and enjoy Heavy metal then this is the place for you, it's just not my thing and I leave the pub with a really heavy head and bad headache.On the other hand, sometimes they do have some great live acts that are purely Rock and i've walked past on these occasions and some of the bands are pretty good.
