Ellipse is a caffe bistro bar, located right on the sea front opposite the new pier in West Bay, with a spectacular panoramic view of the sea through glass walls, arcing around from the east cliff to the south cliff. We also look directly into the harbour and on to the harbour entrance.

Sun sets here are usually spectacular, with the sun setting over Lyme bay in front of us, flooding the interior with golden light. No other building in West Bay has such truly spectacular views.

Internally you will find a relaxing, comfortable and contemporary modern design, where we have created an interior that mirrors the exterior environment, a blend of concrete, steel and wood.

A mixture of low soft seating, dining tables and chairs and high tables with bar stools provides a range of seating options, all with a view of the sea.

Mix this all together with relaxing background music, the best coffee and hot chocolate you can imagine, fantastic food and drink and you truly have a place to feed your soul.
