As a visiting tourist I was turned of by the place for the following reasons. 1. Had to walk down the street in the rain to get cash from an ATM at 1.80 service charge because owner doesn't have debit like everyone else. 2. Paid more for food for the priviledge of sitting at one of the tables in the cafe? What's up with that? 3. 1 small packet of tartar sauce sauce with a large piece of cod and packs of ketchup with our fries. If I have to pay more to sit in then perhaps provide your patrons with ample sauces and more then one small napkin. 4. Service was fine, fish was ok and no doubt it's a good take away for locals however it really should move into the 21st century and invest the extra money made from sit ins to update their menu board above the till and buy a debit credit machine. The focus should be on your customers not on inconviencing them because you want cash only. Have been at several better places on my stay, all had debit and comparable prices and better food. Wouldn't revisit and recommend any that do to bring cash and don't eat in.

This is the best fish andchip shop in the west country. There is always a queue which speaks volumes. We live in Horrabidge and look so forward to a visit as we are never let down. SUPERB !!!

this has to be one of the best fish and chip shops in the south west. Freshly cooked to order ... also jacket potatoes, burgers, and, for the health conscious, steamed fish.... delicious
