I just wanted to thank Hair Priory for the best hair cut and highlights ever. Thanks for listening to what I wanted and making it happen. I don't think I have ever been so pleased with a cut, My family have been really impressed with my new look too. Thank you. Julie 13/04/2012

the worst haircut i have ever had

The worst haircut i have ever had. The stylist was Hannah. I usually go to Toni and Guy, but thought the Hair Priory looked nice and i'd go somewhere a bit 'special' to treat myself. I feel like my hair was literally hacked at. I asked for a trim, and she took 6 inches off of my layers, they are now too short to style. I wanted a fringe trim as my fringe was about eyelash length and she turned me away from the mirror to cut it and when she turned me back she had cut it over a cm above my eyebrows. It was also completely wonky, with the left side just touching the top of my eyebrow and the right side over a cm above. When i pointed this out to her she said 'yeah i know' and then cut more off. She still didn't get it even. I literally felt sick sitting there and seeing how short she had cut my fringe. When she had finished the haircut she asked if it was ok, and i said that my fringe was still really wonky, she then said that she thoguht the fringe was straight but maybe one of my eyebrows was higher than the other! At 26 years of age, i think i may have noticed if that was the case! The haircut is completely uneven all over with a bit of hair 'framing' my face on one saide being about level with the top of my cheek bone, and the corresponding bit of hair on the other side comes down to my mouth. My fringe is a mess and totally uneven. I am going to have to go to Toni and Guy to ask them to sort the mess out. I am gutted, and can't believe i paid £36 to have my hair completely ruined. I will never go here again and just wanted to warn other people!

Having thick dark hair past my shoulder blades for many years its hard to make the decision to have a ' little trim' but I called The hair Priory and took the plunge. On entering its large well planned entrance area I was greeted by the receptionist and sat down with coffee to await my fate. But I needn't have worried as along came my hairdresser Luke , instantly putting me at ease with his chatty personality . Having discussed what sort of a cut I wanted he then washing my hair and lead me to 'the chair' . An hour later feeling like I'd had 20 years and 20 pounds knocked off my life I sat looking at a new me ,sporting a 'Katie Holmes bob' I ventured home with my new lightweight look and a shocked husband who expected 2 inches off the ends not 2 foot ! The hair priory is the sort of place that we ladies dream of, utterly professional, up to date and offering at total of 87 assorted treatments that your hair and body could possibly ever want or you could ever dream of. I will be returning in 6 weeks time for another trim and head massage from Luke and of course that wonderful cup of real coffee. The Hair Priory passed all my expectations and at 50 + I felt relaxed and even liked the music P.S. My 18 year old son didnt recognise me and my husband , he loved the new me.
