We just had large cod & chips!! and 2 childrens meals. The large fish (before normal size) was folded in half, thick, thick batter, found it hard to find the actual fish itself, but the chips were surprisingly better than before, BUT so covered in oil, it came right through the paper and into the carrier bag. There were no childrens meal boxes, no games/toys, both of my young grand kids were upset over this, actually that's the main reason we went there tonight. The portions were markedly smaller and they used the polysterene containers. Prices have gone up too. All together a negative trip to this before well used and loved chippie. Will think very carefully before going there again. Shame I cannot be more positive, it used to be a lovely chippie, they will have to work hard to get back their reputation if they carry on like this.
