Prepares you for the real world
5 of my friends had already passed their test first time with Chris Knight, and in August I managed the same, so he was obviously a good choice! Knight Driver training is his baby, and to me that means more personal and enthusiastic approach to your lessons than you would get with one of the bigger driving schools. Chris's goal is always to teach you to drive at a standard above test-level, so not only did I pass my test first time, I feel that I'm a much safer driver than most new drivers. I'm living in Canada now, driving on the wrong side of the road, in a metre of snow and icy conditions. Chris teaches you that learning doesn't stop once you pass your test. I am now learning to deal with various situations and feel confident doing so because of the coaching I received from Chris. Chris will teach you to become a good driver, and it's not always easy, but he will give you a great mixture of encouragement, motivation, fun and "just get on with it you big pansy". I highly recommend him. Thanks Chris :)

Couldn't of asked for any better!!
Unlike others I had no previous driving instructors and little experience and for that I am lucky. From minute one I took an instant liking to Chris as he was very friendly and to the point. After a few hours it was clear that thanks to Chris' approach I was able to get the hang of basic driving and in time developed into a confident driver all round. Unfortunately I failed my first test on a reverse around a corner, but this was due fully to my nerves and not the way i had been taught. The second test I passed with very few minors and thanks to Chris it was a near perfect drive. The day I passed I drove straight home in my car in the dark and rain, the morning after in the snow. I never once doubted my abilities to do so safely due to the thorough tutelage that Chris provides. Chris teaches to be a good safe driver and not just to pass the test. I really couldn't have asked for a better instructor both as a teacher and a friend. So I couldn't recommend Knight Driver Training highly enough whether you're a nervous first timer or unhappy with a previous school Chris caters for everyone and always has a smile and a laugh for you.

Does what he says on the tin

Knight Driver training is his baby, and to me that means a more personal and enthusiastic approach to your lessons than you would get with one of the bigger driving schools. Chris taught me to drive at a standard above test-level, so not only did I pass my test first time, he also taught me the skills I need to drive safely and confidently now I'm allowed in a car by myself (even in Canada on the wrong side of the road)! Chris will teach you to become a good driver, and it's not always easy, but he will give you a great mixture of encouragement, motivation, fun and "just get on with it you big pansy". a bit late
i passed back in january but nly just had time to write this!! before i started driving lessons with chri i was crap!! i had about 10 lessons with another company and wasnt learning, then a friend told me abou chris. i passed with 2 minors and i never would of been able to do it without chris!! i was so excited that i'd ased but now i really miss my lessons!

When you see a colour you like...
I passed my test earlier this year with 5 minors! Chris was my second instructor, I was recommended Chris by a friend as I wasn't happy with a previous instructor. From the first lesson I felt comfortable with Chris, which was the main thing for me! Chris has a great balance he will make you work hard so you become a good driver but he will have a laugh with you too, a great combo! Chris was brilliant, I had dodgy hours when I was having lessons but Chris was flexible and always on time. I can't wait to see Chris out on the road now I am out and about driving…so look out for me Chris! I am the vain driver always looking in the mirror and flicking my hair…just another good way to remember to "check your mirrors"

Fantastic instructor
Before I started driving with Knight Driving and Chris, I already had 13 lessons with another firm and instrutor; unfortunately I didn't & wasn't progressing at all and hadn't improved from my first lesson. When I started with Chris, we started with the basics and one of the best things about Chris is he has many styles and can adapt to your learning and as frustrating as I may have been, it was never shown with Chris and we stuck with it until it clicked into place. Then we would move onto something different and again Chris was patient and a fantastic tutor. During my time with Chris I thought of him as a friend as well as a tutor and would highly recommend him to anyone Thanks a million for everything Chris

Driving instruction whatever your level & pace
Knight Driver Training is a fantastic school for learning to drive, no matter your previous experience! For me, coming from 30 years of being chauffeured around, I was in need of a lot of tuition but Chris was fantastic; patient but firm, full of practical advice and hands on guidance and instruction. Right from the start he was encouraging, working out exactly how you learn best, whether like me, work better under pressure or when not trying too hard, or whatever…he has learned skills for teaching the most stubborn of learners! From no experience of driving to passing on my second test in under a year (first test failure was for manoeuvring – let nerves get the better of me and rushed it, I really should have passed and would have if not for that!) I am well pleased, and my wife is dead happy she won't have to chauffeur me around any more! Thanks Chris for a new lease of life! I would recommend Chris to anyone looking to learn to drive at a pace that suites them under excellent instruction!

top class instructor ++++++
chris is a top class intructor who i would tell anyone about , he so kind and doz not inder you in anyway he helps all the time and keeps you at rest all in all i had about 25 lessons and got there in the end i passed on the 2nd of jan this year after not telling a soul chris had more faith in me than i did so i would like to say thanks again for all you did chris i will still pass ur number on and i will also book him for my son as he is one top pass ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ lisa b

Look no further! guaranteed pass with Chris Knight
My boyfriend recommended chris to me after failing my test 7 times with a VERY well know driving school. I had lost all my confidence and was ready to give up! But after having a few lessons with Chris he gave me all my confidence back and i passed 2nd time with only 1 minor! Hes a great instructor and a great friend! I would recommend Chris to anyone as he is very honest, reliable and always the best!

Fantastic Instructor
The tuition I received from Knight Driver Training was top class. Learning to drive was the most nerve-racking decision i'd made to date, but the experience and patience of the driving instructor was amazing, I was ready to give up on myself but my instructor wasn't. With his guidance and perseverence I passed my test and have never looked back...... I would highly recommend this driving school

chris is really a top instructor!!!makes u feel so confident and at ease while driving!! after being with another instructor and not getting anywhere, my boyfriend suggested chris,who he was with! its probabley the best thing lee did!!lol!! took just under a year to pass with chris! i highly reccommend him to others, the prices are in range for students and hes flexible with time slots! hes simply the best!!!

Excellent Insctuctor
I had my first driving lesson with Chris on May 10th 2007, and yesterday (24th September 2007) i passed first time with 5 minors. Chris made you feel confident in what you were doing, if you made a mistake he wouldnt be angry at you, he would just tell you how to correct the mistake. Chris is an easy guy to get along with and you have plenty of laughs with him. I would recommend him to anyone. Great instructor!!

Top Instrutor n Ting...!!!!
Where shall I start... Got there in the end after 4 goes, although at times I wanted to give up Chris is gave me hope and I carried on. Not only a fab a instructor but a wkd guy, we had some laughs and some cries...hehe! Would recommend Knight Driving Training to everyone, its the only way to learn!!!! Thanks Chris for all the up and downs, highs and the lows, I've learnt alot about myself aswell as driving..BeepBeep xxxx

Chris Knight-best instructor you can get.
I passed my test yesterday and could not have done it without coming and getting help from this guy. I had another instructor and failed, had a couple of lessons with Chris and passed straight away. He instantly saw the problems I had with driving and sharpened me up ready to try again. He is absolutely sound. He genuinely cares about the progression of his students and gets the balance of having fun and learning down to a tee. Wicked guy, great sense of humour, makes you feel calm and anyone could get on with him. So don't go to any other instructor and give him a call!

5 STAR DRIVING INSTRUCTOR
After previous lessons on a couple of occasions some years ago and not always good experiences I am currently taking lessons with Chris! Praise where praise is due, Chris is absolutely 100% by far the best instructor I have taken lessons with! He is comfortable to be with, explains everything in full including diagrams and demonstrations from him. If your still not sure, he'll calmly explain it as many times as needed until you do understand. Chris has a knack of reading you just like he reads the road. He knows your strengths, your weaknesses, gives you confidence at all the right times, has more faith in you than you probably do yourself and is very relaxed about any little moments (none agressive of course) you may or may not have! (If your like me, every now and then I'll remember I'm driving and forget how to do it hee! hee!) It's quite bonkers how everything falls into place up until that point and it's all thanks to Chris! Not only is he a great instructor but he is human too which is always a good sign! So you can talk about allsorts throughout the lesson, put the worlds to right if you wish and if your having an off day he is very understanding! Obviously I strongly recommend Chris and I'm pretty sure you would too! Sarah xx

Great instructor
When I first started having lessons with Chris, I had already had a number of lessons with another instructor. I had extremely low confidence driving and felt I wasn't really progressing. Chris changed this and built up my self esteem driving and I felt that I progressed more with him in a month than with my previous instructor in 6 months. Chris is a not only a great instructor but a genuinely top bloke! I enjoyed the lessons and my time learning. If your looking for an instructor, look no further. I cannot recommend Chris highly enough!

What a fantastic instructor!!
I passed my test today (23rd March 07) and I can honestly say I couldnt have done it without Chris. If you want a friendly, fun but firm instructor then Chris is your man. He and his family are great and i can never repay him for the way that my life will change now i can drive and drive with confidence!! (Im going miss hearing about Popstar and Alfie)! I passed my test today(23rd March 07) and i couldn't have done it without Chris. If you want to learn from a friendly and fun, but fair instructor, Chris Knight is your man! I can honestly say that im going to miss not having lessons with him as he is one of the most genuiene and funny guys i have met. I'm going to miss hearing about Popstar and Alfie! Chris is firm but fair and funny. I don't think anyone else would have got me through my test. There were tears and tantrums (from me) but he dealt with them all. Chris you're a star. :O) See you at my wedding. Jodi xx

best driving instructor ever !
i passed my driving test 2 days ago with Chris Knight from Knight Driver Training. i only got 3 minors!!! how good is that people?!?!? i've had driving lessons with other companies before but i can honestly say that Knight Driver Training is the best! BEST!!! Chris is one of ther best people you will ever meet!! so give him a ring up !! LETS ROCK

Chris Knight
I first started lessons with Chris in February 2005, a 34 year old very nervous woman. He raised my confidence ten-fold, and through his guidance, perseverence and assurances I successfully passed my test on 10/01/07. I would highly recommend Chris as a driving instructor......he rocks!! Thanks for all you've done Chris......

I was, and still am, a nervous driver, and Chris is fantastic - he always stays calm and helps me understand what i'm doing and i now feel so much better about driving. He's really, really good and helpful!

Simply the best!!!!!!!!!
Chris is a fantastic instructor!!! If you are nervous, he will calm you down, if you have low self esteem , he will build you up, and if you have a lack of confidence, again he will build it back up!!! From being the most nervous person behind the wheel, thanks to Chris, i have become a competant driver, and am looking forward to taking my test soon !!

First Class!!
A friend of mine recommended Chris to me as I was having lessons with another instructor but wasn’t really progressing. I was a very nervous driver and had no confidence. From my first lesson with Chris he put me at ease and my confidence improved. Now after only a few months we have started talking about booking my test!! I never enjoyed driving with previous instructors but now I really look forward to my lessons!! I cannot recommend Chris highly enough!! He's a star!!

Fab driving instructor!
Like most people wanting to learn to drive I didn't know what to expect from driving lessons and I was so nervous but I never expected to enjoy learning to drive as much as I have. Chris is a fantastic instructor and knows how to make you feel at ease. I've now passed and although I'm over the moon I'm really going to miss my lessons. I can't sing his praise loud enough!
