quality food and great beer - perfect country pub!
the food was great, with an extensive menu of high quality dishes at good value prices, there is something for everyone. the drinks are also good, with fine local ales and the atmosphere is friendly, with a traditional feel created inside through the wooden beams and roaring log fires - the mark of a proper country pub!accommodation-wise, the rooms are spotlessly clean and are furnished to a high standard, and the hearty full english breakfast in the morning provides the ideal start to a day exploring the stunning surrounding dales and peaks.would recommend the Bulls Head in Castleton to anyone looking to spend a short break in the Peak District, or wanting a home cooked meal of real quality, or maybe just a quality pint by the open fire of a traditional english pub.well done peter and michelle at the bulls head, castleton - a pub well worth a visit whilst in the peak district

Bulls Head Hotel
Lovely country pub with and excellent selection of food and cakes and local beers. The food is freshly cooked, well priced and filling and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming with a raoring log fire and a selection of games.
