Good Food, Good Pub
This is a great pub! Not so many years ago this pub was a little scruffy and run down, but ever since the refurbishment, about 5 years ago i think it was; it is great. It is a really cosy pub witb a fire in the middle and lots of interesting nik naks around the place to look at. There is also 2 TVs with SKY that have the premiership football matches on at a weekend, one of the TVs is in the pool room. I go quite often to the chieftain at a weekend for a meal and the choice of food they have is really good and it is all quite reaonably priced. They have snacks like chips and sandwiches or big meals and it is always really tasty. There is a bar garden area outside which is fairly new and there are lots of chairs to sit on and watch the world go by. A great pub for a drink or a meal!
