BRILLIANT
What a lovely place. Receptionist VERY pleasant.The vet I saw took time in explaining everything to me in a way I could understand HE WAS BRILLIANT.Did not feel pressure to pay anything at all. But I paid as much as I could afford.And made a promise that when Iam back in work I will return and pay the bill in FULL.Thankyou for saving my dogs life. I will never forget how kind you have been.

Bullys and hypocrites
Vet was incredibly rough with my very ill cat and when examining my dog. I felt like a hinderance rather than a customer. ALSO Copy of complaint sent to PDSA about their disgusting receptionists!!! "I am absolutely gutted about the way I have just been spoken to by one of your receptionists at your London Road, Derby Branch. This is the third time this has happened and has upset me more than I can express. I am currently in reciept of Council Tax benefits and Job Seekers Allowance. The amount paid is the bare minimum that one is supposed to be able to live on. I am a single parent with a 13 year old son. It is humiliating enough to have to claim benefits EVEN THOUGH I STILL pay voluntary National Insurance!!! I do not need to be made to feel like a piece of dirt when I can't afford to make a contribution for medication. I have considered having my cat euthanised as he requires life-long thyroid medication and I can't go through this humiliation every time. Is that the kind of decision you encourage?? Not only did the lady SHOUT across the waiting room how much my current spend had been but proceeded to talk about me, ensuring anyone in that room could hear, and how I should have paid something. I was sat furthest away from the desk and heard every word and so could everyone else. I understand any contributions are voluntary - the PDSA was set up for situations like this. I'm not in this situation by choice and should not be made to feel so low and upset so much just because I don't want to give up my pets or, in my case, have my cat put down. I have seen two of the older lady receptionists there and they have been utterly vile. I understand you neeed to cover medication costs but I simply don't have it. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. This treatment of your customers is simply not acceptable. This happened three hours ago and I still feel devastated. You can ring me on................ but please DO NOT use this number/share for marketing or any other reason as it is a borrowed number. Kindest regards Mia Morgan-Ford p.s. Thankful
The PDSA in Derby have always been amazing! Despite running on donations only, they do a fantastic job. We are lucky they are there at all, despite people like Trudie W being ungrateful and rude, the majority of us appreciate the PDSA.

I think when you have that attitude towards PDSA. i would send you away too, sort your dog out yourself, ungrateful *******. saved my dogs life 3 times, thanks alot.

pdas derby
my dog has been turned away 5 times now when he's been booked in for an appointment, Rude receptionist, staff don't care. Why book an appointment for an operation, then they keep turning you away and thats when you get down there and then you need to fetch them back because they've not had it done, if you was paying for it, it would be a different matter, disgusting place, would never recommend it to anyone,but when your short of money what can you do.
