Good location just off Dales Way. The communal room on entry is very cluttered and did smell a bit doggy. Suzy the owner has one long haired dashund who was kept out of the way. She was very hospitable. The room is basic. The bathroom is up the corridor and the shower was fine. There is a washbasin in the bedroom. It was stuffy as the window can't be opened due to secondary double glazing unit. There is no lock on the door. The breakfast was tasty and Suzy gave us extra bread to make a sandwich. It wasn't expensive at £58. Our evening meal at The Dalesman a short walk away was excellent.

Wheelwright cottage Sedbergh please avoid
Enter off the street to a disgusting smell of dog urine & filth. Rooms have no locks so please do not leave valuables un -attended, breakfast is average and the the proprietor is rude
