Fab feedback from the lady in durham!!!!!! I can’t speak highly enough of John Kerry and his team. We had just finished renovating a Victorian terraced house in Durham city – loft conversion, full re-plaster, new woodwork throughout, new bathroom and new kitchen – and in February 2016 I had employed a decorator to prep and paint the house. His workmanship was appalling: no prep, thick roller marks up the freshly plastered walls, patchy finish and awful cutting in. I contacted John in desperation, having found his site and read other clients’ testimonials online. I was concerned about engaging another decorator and at a loss as to how the finish of the walls and woodwork could be restored without recourse to massive amounts of work and expense. John couldn’t have been kinder or more ready to help. He visited us on a Sunday (travelling some distance just to be able to meet up as soon as possible) and started work full time on the property three weeks ago. He and his team sanded every wall in the house with an electric sander, removing the dreadful paintwork of the previous decorator, and prepped all of the walls and woodwork. He advised on paint finishes and had a wonderful eye for knowing what would look best and most in-keeping with the style of the house. No detail was overlooked, and the team were excellent at keeping me informed at every stage – emailing photographs of their day’s work and sending me invoices as they went along so that we could keep track of the expense. In a little over 2 weeks of non-stop hard work, they had revolutionised the place. And not only had John, Kyran and Sharlene painted the whole house to an standard usually only seen in glossy magazines, they changed door handles to match the other hardware in the house, put tiles up in the bathroom where a splash back was missing, and transformed an old bannister into a work of art. The house was immaculate every day when they packed up and spotless when they left. We are very lucky to have found John and his team and it was a privilege to watch them work. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them and now wouldn’t use anybody else!

We have finally managed to get operational again over the weekend….as I am sure you were aware I was getting a bit frustrated with all the turmoil….but it’s all been worth it!
