Traditonal pub with a good selection of draught and real ale beers and lagers. Resident landlord who runs a friendly and welcoming house for all ages. Pool table area, lounge and bar areas cater for all tastes. Juke box with a good variety of music and a lively atmosphere at weekends especially. Special Live music nights and quizzes. Doesn't do meals as such but always plenty of crisps behind the bar. Car park to the rear of premises and a large function room upstairs for private hire.Leek flower and Veg show runs each year with traditional auction afterwards, an ideal opportunity to go out for a pint and take home the weeks veg and a bunch of flowers
