Widnes Golf Club is a friendly members-owned club. It has a central location less than five minutes away from the town centre and offers a warm welcome to golfers and social visitors alike.

Founded in 1924, the course is located in a scenic parkland setting. It has tight tree lined fairways together with fast greens and offers a real test of accuracy for any golfer.

The clubhouse offers a relaxing setting with a well stocked bar, full catering service and an attractive patio overlooking the 18th green.

A warm welcome awaits visitors to Widnes Golf Club throughout the week and weekend*. Our 18 hole parkland golf course and clubhouse facilities, combine to ensure Widnes Golf Club is a superb choice of venue. When arriving at the Club visitors must register with the Pro Shop, Bar or Office to obtain their green fee ticket before play. Please display this tag at all time when playing on the course. Men can play from the white tees and ladies from the red.

Visitors are welcome to make full use of the Club's facilities – practice area, putting greens, bars, lounges, balcony, snooker room and changing rooms.

We request that all visitors follow golf etiquette and read our rules on dress to ensure that your visit runs as smoothly as possible.

Pro Shop

Our Pro Shop is the first point of call for your visit to Widnes Golf Club and offers a comprehensive range of equipment and clothing from leading manufacture as well as everything you need for your round of golf such as balls, tees to a range of snacks and refreshments.

Our Club professional Jason O'Brien was appointed in April 1995 and is a class AA PGA professional, he is also a level III P.G.A. coach and has an Enhanced CRB and also a Sports Coach U.K qualification.
