Forster Dean was originally founded in November 1992 by Peter Forster-Dean. At that time the firm had one office in Cheshire. The firm was set up as a niche practice specialising in personal injury litigation and domestic conveyancing. In 2007 Forster Dean became one of the first law firms in the country to successfully undergo a management buyout which was led by the current Chief Executive, Gregory Shields and since then the company has undergone significant controlled expansion and now operates from arguably the largest high street branch network in the country. This has been achieved by successfully integrating the latest technology with a traditional high street approach, where the relationship with the client is king. In October 2009 Forster Dean became one of the first legal practices to convert from a Limited Liability Partnership to a Limited Company. The firm is exceptionally well placed to achieve its ultimate goal of becoming the largest and the best high street law firm in the Country.
