I went to the White Apron on Valentine's day this year and it was beautiful. The staff are friendly and polite, the service is second to non. They are only too happy to offer recommendations, tastes of wine before purchasing a bottle! Really wonderful food and yes, a little pricey, but I think you get what you pay for in this place! Fantastic food and fantastic service!

I've never been in this restaurant when it was crowded and I don't know why. It's a lovely restaurant, nice surroundings and decor, attentive & pleasant staff and gorgeous food. It can be expensive but they do have good offers. The website won't allow me to give it 5 stars but that's what it is!

This restaurant provides excellent quality food served in a relaxed, smoke-free environment by helpful and friendly staff at an affordable price. Drinks are also reasonably priced and Wine is not a ""rip-off"". It sounds too good to be true but we found it to be such a pleasant experience that we have become Regulars. Guy & Karen have a passion for their Business that is contagious!

I visited the restuarant midweek a few months ago ... was not expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. The decor and atmosphere were good. Had a gorgeous (award winning!) white wine which I really enjoyed. I even tried to locate it in the supermarket afterwards... to no avail:( The food was pleasant enough, however, being a vegetarian the selection was not exactly vast. The menu items for non-meat eaters was in fact pretty poor - stretching to approximately 2 main courses. Mildly surprising for a mediterranean restaurant, I felt. However, this was in some way redeemed when the chef made something else which was not on the menu (pasta - what else?!). This was okay, if not a little uncreative (sorry!). Despite the lack of creativity, I'd definitely revisit as my dining partner - who does eat meat - enjoyed the experience. I hope this balances the review. Also, I'm quite happy to sample the vino again!
