VISITORS--head for this pub across from the market...Wow cheap real ales that only the locals know about...usually wall to wall friendly people...NO dont go across the street cos its twice as much and the ale is not as good....The secret is that it is owned by a very old private Brewery--who do things dead right and there is not an MBA clown in sight to screw things up and bankrupt the place...Yes by all means imbibe 10/1 you will get drunk if need be--the choice is yours..!!....but you will probably not get a hangover the nest morning---this is real ale with no chemicals.........Ian...Vancouver...(visitor to Stockport 3 times every year)
