SHALIMAR
The shalimar is a beautiful newly designed restaurant right in the centre of macclesfeild. It has got very nice curries and some amazing desserts which I love. They've also got a small bar which you could get anything that you would probly able to get from a pub. It has got champagne, wine, beer, vodka etc. Everthing that you would want and at a fairly good price, it's just good for a family day out, or a nice welcoming place to go into and eat lovely food.

Shalimar
the shalimar on chestergate is at the heart of macclesfield town centre surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants. it is a small restaurant which is very modern and lively and not in the traditional indian style of restaurant typical of the area. the ambience and decor add a contemporary feel to this welcoming and friendly place. the food is standard fare and of good quality and the service is quick and attentive. the staff are polite and eager to please and dietry requirements are accommodated. parking is available on churchill way or other nearby pay and display car parks. it is usually pretty quiet except for friday and saturday nights. there are various good value meal deals available and is a good choice for those wanting a slightly more modern and trendy indian restaurant experience.

Colourful !!
This restaurant has been recently renovated. Both the food and the place is very colourfull. However some might find it rather too much for the eye/eccentric. Beware that the more colurful the food is, the more food colouring that has gone into it, which is not going to go easy on your stomach. However the food is rather tasty and the service is quite good with a reasonable price. The menu is not too long and not too short either. But, if you are not the one prefering spicy dishes, please do order the food to be made with 'medium' spice.Although the restaurant is situated quite close the town centre, I would prefer to go to a different one if I get to make the choice
