Restaurant - Thai in Macclesfield
New Road
Prestbury

Went for a meal with three friends last Saturday night. Was impressed by the range of the menu and was a bit spoilt for choice so will have to go again. Had a fantastic meal, reasonably priced and Thai Singha beer to wash it down with. Excellent!

The buzz in the Admiral Rodney Pub was all about the Prestbury Thai Restaurant. So I gave it a try last weekend. I must say it deserves all the praise. The food was more delicate than I have tried at other Thai Restaurants and the tastes leapt out from the plate. The fact that you have to nearly walk through the kitchen to get to the toilets merely adds to the off beat nature of the place, as does the way they differenciate between the Ladies and the Gents ( Go and you will see what I mean)The wine list was excellent value with the house white being a step up in quality from most house wines I have tried.Service was excellent. Try it- you will not be dissapointed

Having eaten at the many and various Thai restaurants throughout the locality, I've finally found Thai food that equals anything that I've eaten in Thailand! Service can be a little ""hit or missed"", but always pleasant, and the food more than makes up for this.
