Delicious food and great ale
Passed this pub several times and after reading on the Nantwich Chronicle that they won pub of the year with best food for the 2nd year running, i decided to pop in and see what is was all about. Nice country inn, friendly staff, met the general manager Sergio who took care of us. You can tell the food is all made on site. Pipping hot, nicely presented and very tasty. They are family owned so no ties with breweries. They have a excellent selection of ales. I had the Timothy Taylor's Landlord which was superb. they also had Joule's Slumbering Monk Salopian Sproshire Gold and Theakston Old peculier. Overall a excellent lunch. I can see why they won their award. We will be came soon.
