Clonter Opera Theatre - Nurturing New Talent in Cheshire, North West England
Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, Clonter captures the drama and glamour of a night at the theatre - combining performances with either a 70 minute supper/picnic interval, or a 30 minute interval with a pre-performance supper/picnic. This delightfully quirky and intimate venue contains a 400 seat auditorium, complete with orchestra pit, and indoor picnic and formal dining facilities, with free spacious car parking. Clonter Opera Theatre offers a wide range of musical entertainment, from jazz, gospel and folk to opera, of course. This year also sees the introduction of a panto! Also watch out for other events such as comedy nights, lectures and afternoon teas.
Auditorium for hire
The auditorium seats 400 and has a cyclorama at the back or a black curtain. All levels of catering and decoration can be arranged. Civil ceremonies, wedding receptions and celebrations in addition to the varied musical programme, and children's workshops, which take place every year.
