Bad experience

I was really excited about getting my living room wallpapered after moving into my first home. I chose Paul Middleton to wallpaper as he was local and I like to support local tradesman. Paul came over to price up how much it would cost (his price was very reasonable). Paul then came over to wallpaper. Once he had finished i mentioned that there where gaps between each piece of wallpaper (one piece of wallpaper had a 5 mm gap, as you can imagine it was really unsightly). Paul said not to worry and that the gaps would close. He instructed me to keep all the windows open and to turn the heating off (what i did). In the morning the gaps still had not closed so i rang Paul and arranged for him to come round to inspect the gaps. He then decided to get some paint and paint between the gaps it looked even worse than before. I then arranged for Paul to pay for the wallpaper that he had messed up. I agreed to pay for the new lining paper. When he arrived at my house he lined the wall then asked me where the paper was (what!!!!!!!!!!) he agreed to get it!!!! This was another wasted day with half a job done. Paul then managed to get the paper and sent me a text arranging to come round my house at 8 am. Paul then asked if I would have the money for him £36 a role he said (what!!!!!!) is this man serious? I sent him a text saying you agreed to pay for the wallpaper (no response). Paul turned up the next day at 8.25 am instead of 8 am as agreed. He then went on to tell me that he is not paying for the wallpaper and apparently there was nothing wrong with his work (so why was he trying to paint in the gaps in last time he came round, for the fun of it?). I also questioned the price of the wallpaper so he went and got the receipt out his car, low and behold it cost him £30 a role and not £36 like he said in his text. From the start, up until the last visit it has taken 6 months and i have still been left with a wall that looks rubbish!!!!! Paul was also very hard to track down sometimes I had to use other peoples phones to ring him, so that he would pick up. Ow and apparently he didn't receive half of my text messages.
