I took my partner and his two children here for a special meal to celebrate a birthday. I love to dine in the conservatory as it has a lovely feel and open views across the garden to Fotheringhay church, which is steeped in History. This is a restaurant so if you want normal pub food don't go here as the prices are much higher. The food is excellent quality, prepared to order, well presented and very tasty. Excellent wine list as you would expect from this type of restaurant. It looks like a pub from the outside and there is a bar area where you can sit and have a drink and warm yourself in front of the fire in Winter. Although it's quite small so can get crowded. In Summer there is a lovely garden to enjoy. Plenty of parking available at the rear.Fotheringhay is a lovely village too, so have a wonder around and visit the old castle and moat area. No remains just the hill but still worth a stroll.
