The Snug Bar is a small and cosy place but what it lacks in size it makes up for in character and atmosphere! The staff are always friendly and welcoming whilst maintaining just the right level of efficiency and professionalism. The clientèle is a very diverse mix of trendy young professionals, tourists, local more mature singles, couples and groups and a few students. I cannot imagine anyone would feel out of place on coming here. It has a lively yet relaxed feel and you can enjoy a wide range of cocktails including non-alcoholic drinks and freshly made smoothies (yummuy)! The food is always freshly cooked and delicious... I was deleighted the first time I ordered a chicken burger, expecting one of the usual dreary processed discs covered in breadcrumbs, only to find it was a whole chicken breast covered in bacon, brie and cranberry sauce complete with home cooked fat chips and a side salad. Most of the time there is pleasant piped music but they do have live music on some evenings and a huge screen for special matches that is occasionally brought out. I can highly recommend The Snug for a casual and relaxed night out.

I was so pleased when i saw the Snug on here. I have had some really goods times over the past 3 years at the Snug from when it opened to last friday! the yogi bear smoothies are fantastic and are a must for anybody visiting, as are the fish and chips. The owner is a great guy and always has a smile. Wi-Fi is a must for most pubs now and the snug is no exception, they have good internet access. Lovely comfortaboe seats inside and nice chairs outside where you can watch the traffic jams fold out in front of you. Highly recommended.
