Contemporary English cuisine using fresh local ingredients, served in a modern, stylish canalside setting.
Don't be put off by the exterior -which is quite bland. The food was realy tasty the garlic prawns were excellent ! unfortunately some of the veg was re heated which was a let fdown. Has potential to be really good if served fresh steamed veg

Sunday lunch at The Bridge is fantastic value for money. One of the best things about it is the fact that you can choose your plate size so you get a meal to match your appetite rather than one size fits all. In the week there is an extensive range of value meals ranging from pub classics to my favourite - the tapas selection. With BOGOF baguettes at lunchtime and a 15 minute menu that is possibly even quicker this is a great place to drop by anytime or day.

sadly this place as gone down hill in the last 12 months. It was my favourite restaurant, you couldn't fault anything,BUT we went there for christmas day lunch, the price had doubled without telling us untill AFTER we had eaten,we wouldn't have minded if the food was up to thier usual standard..it wasn't,the starter was gorgeous, then it all went down hill, the veg was raw but burnt and cold..how do you do that!!! the turkey was a frozen rolled breast. It wasn't busy,3 tables =@20 people.but we waited @40-50 mins between courses. I felt very let down,I was a regular therebut now I won't go back and I wouldn't recommend it.
